Our role: raw materials at the heart of shared excellence
Pontex specialises in the creation, supply and customisation of fabrics for high-end clothing, without directly manufacturing the finished garments. Our mission is to guide the customer through the entire supply chain:
- Stylistic approach: we bring the client’s vision to life by identifying the highest-performance fabric, whether it is available from stock for immediate delivery via our stock service or needs to be developed specifically for the project.
- Technical expertise: we coordinate the surface finishing process, selecting the most suitable dyeing and finishing treatments to give each garment its own unique identity, character and texture.
- Certified supply chain network: we connect clients with Italian manufacturers of proven reliability, from garment workshops to the country’s leading contract manufacturers.
The collaboration with Tintoria Emiliana: a network of experimental workshops
Underpinning this visual narrative is a strong industrial and creative partnership with Tintoria Emiliana. The close collaboration between weaving, dyeing research and fabric finishing transforms the supply chain into a veritable open laboratory, capable of exploring pioneering finishing techniques:
- Advanced finishes: patented processes, polymer coatings, layering and chromatic corrosion treatments applied to fine fibres.
- Strict quality control and traceability: a production process managed entirely within Italy, in accordance with shared ethical and environmental standards.
- Uniqueness of the result: the opportunity to create one-off collections and capsule ranges, far removed from the standardising principles of mass production.

A look at the seasons: structure and lightness
Within the Galleria Capi, the themes are organised into two seasonal exhibitions, which are constantly updated with new visual material:
- Autumn/Winter: a collection centred on texture, warmth and protection. The key features are three-dimensional velvets, fustian, dense cottons and resin-coated fabrics, designed for sculptural outerwear and formal suits.
- Spring/Summer: a collection characterised by lightness, fluidity and breathability. Fabrics in linen, viscose, cupro and lightweight cottons, enhanced by natural dyes and ombré effects that complement the body’s natural movement.
This section does not display static models, but illustrates the infinite malleability of the raw material when worked by expert hands.
