What are resin-dyed fabrics?
The starting point is often a noble, natural raw material—a PXT (Ready for Dyeing) fabric such as our combed cotton gabardine, our linens, or our cottons. These are classic fabrics, naturally very soft. After the technical resinating treatment, the raw material is transformed: it becomes capable of perfectly maintaining the volume of the garment’s design and offers superior abrasion resistance. This enhances both aesthetic and functional performance, making it the perfect material for outerwear and urban-sportswear.
The resin changes the “hand” (feel) of the fabric, shifting it from “basic” to technical, enriching its structure and appearance:
- sustained and snappy hand: the fabric acquires a stronger structure, becoming ‘snappy’ to the touch;
