For Spring/Summer 2024, Pontex has created a Coocon Effect Collection, with garment fabrics that evoke a soft, enveloping feel and allow garments to be worn in every context and situation, linking indoor and outdoor, chic and comfort, elegance and performance.
The new Capsule Collection by Pontex is made up of fabrics with new aspects, with ambivalent uses and tactile sensations, declined in a colour palette of unexpected tones. Colour plays a leading role in modifying the appearance and shape of these textile proposals, which take on nuances that illuminate the softer looks of the forthcoming Spring/Summer 2024, in a play of contrasts.
Focus Colour: golden touch, good mood coral, multifaceted red, creative yellow
In this Collection, a shade is the protagonist whose warmth conveys humanity, a sense of connection and care for the environment. Its full name is ‘golden touch’: in spring and even more so in summer, the gold mania conquers all and never goes out of fashion; to be combined with dresses and trousers, this tone becomes an ally especially when the skin gets tanned.
Good mood coral: it is impossible not to fall in love with this warm and enveloping shade, which combines pink and orange and recalls the colour of corals at the bottom of the warm tropical ocean. Elegant and sophisticated, coral in the Pontex swatchbook is declined starting with the trousers, the perfect focus to apply this colour in all its purity. Even the jacket does not exclude this touch of vitaminic and lively colour, with colour gradations ranging from bright red to orange passing through pink.

The apparel fabrics selected for a season as soft and embracing as Spring/Summer, yet at the same time fresh and inclusive, range from natural fibres with linen, cotton linen and ramie, to reinforced cottons and elastomer cottons, not forgetting long fibre cottons and 100% cottons made using only pure cotton fibres not mixed with other synthetic fibres.

Tencel, voile, light cotton, cotton silk, viscose and cotton gauze bring wearability and freshness, lightness and brilliance to move away from overly constructed looks and open up to more everyday universes. There are also eclectic, digital and traditional prints in strong colours, indigo fabrics with their never predictable shine, resin-coated , laminated and technical fabrics with the use of natural resin coatings, GOTS dyes with natural dyes and pigments and closed-loop finishing.
